Hi, this is my favourite 2D drawing from my hand drawn folio- done aaages ago in the highschool headspace (eg. note how I signed and put the copyright bit in totally different parts of the image? Yikes, what was I thinking???)

The original image was drawn with a .13 tech pen which is like drawing with a pin. It used to cut the page often (I have since moved on to less "high maintenance" pens). It's about 20cm wide, so zooming in using the computer reveals stuff I didn't even think I was capable of back then!

I was inspired by Simon Harrison's art - one of the artists who did Strontium Dog in 2000AD comics. I always used to love how he did stuff SOOOO detailed, just for a $3 AU comic! He has since gone on to exhibit with Giger - another fave artist from my earlier years.
